Conley (finger) has been shut down after a recent doctor visit and is now expected to need more than the minimum 15 days on the disabled list, MLB.com reports.
Initial expectations were that Conley's stay on the DL would be a short one, but he's been unable to throw while experiencing swelling and inflammation in his injured hand. The 26-year-old lefty has posted a respectable 3.94 ERA and 122:61 K:BB ratio over 130.1 innings pitched in 24 starts for the Marlins this season.
