Nationals' Brian Goodwin: Optioned to Triple-A

Goodwin was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, MASN's Mark Zuckerman reports.

This was inevitable, as Goodwin is firmly behind Michael Taylor right now in the quest to be the Nationals' fourth outfielder. Goodwin is a quality defender, but he lacks enough offensive firepower to intrigue fantasy owners even in dynasty leagues.
