Nationals' Luis Garcia: Signs with Nationals for $1.3 million

Garcia signed a $1.3 million deal with the Nationals on Saturday.

Garcia is a well-rounded 16-year-old shortstop prospect out of the Dominican Republic, but his top present tools are his arm and his glove. He is the No. 3 international prospect according to Baseball America, and is ranked No. 7 by MLB.com. His fantasy upside is not as high as some of the other shortstops in this class, but he has a chance to be an everyday player in the majors with no major flaws, which could be plenty useful in dynasty leagues down the road.
