Ross (shoulder) threw a 46-pitch bullpen session Saturday and will throw live batting practice Tuesday, the San Diego Union-Tribune's Dennis Lin reports.
He got up and down twice during Saturday's session, and emerged fine enough to advance to the next step in his rehab -- throwing live batting practice Tuesday in Florida. It sounds like Ross could return in late August or early September if everything goes smoothly from here on out, but he still needs to emerge from his live BP fine and then go on a multi-start rehab assignment.
