Manager Pete Mackanin said Bailey is the front runner for the Phillies' closing job, Ryan Lawrence of the Philly Voice reports.

Bailey got the vote of confidence from his manager even after allowing three runs on four hits Tuesday. Mackanin did also add that he would like to see improved velocity from Bailey, who was hovering around 90 mph with his fastball Tuesday. David Hernandez and Dalier Hinojosa also remain in the mix for closing duties. A decision might not come until the Phillies break camp next week.
