Phillies' Roman Quinn: Heads to MiLB DL

Quinn (elbow) was placed on the minor-league disabled list Friday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Given that Quinn has a UCL injury in his elbow, this move comes as no surprise. It essentially opens up a roster spot at Triple-A for another outfielder to take his spot. He's scheduled to get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews soon, so a clearer timetable for his return should come forth following that appointment.
