Pirates' Austin Meadows: Sent to disabled list

Meadows was placed on the International League DL with a strained right hamstring, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Meadows, who hasn't played since June 30, is off to an inconsistent start at Triple-A. He's slashing .239/.271/.522 with seven extra-base hits and two steals in 12 games. The center fielder was removed from the Futures Game roster.
