Rays' Logan Morrison: Diagnosed with torn sheath in wrist

Morrison's MRI revealed a torn sheath in his wrist, Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

While this is the initial diagnosis, Morrison will be getting a second opinion. If he does in fact have a torn sheath, the injury would require surgery. Either way, it doesn't appear that Morrison is due to return in the near future. In his absence, look for Brad Miller and Nick Franklin to share time at first base.
