Norris' (oblique) rehab assignment will be transferred to Double-A Erie, where he'll make a start on Thursday.
Norris made two starts for Triple-A Toledo the past several weeks, giving up six earned runs over 8.2 innings (6.23 ERA) and will now head to Double-A Erie for one or two more tune ups as he returns from an oblique strain. Given that Jordan Zimmerman is due to return from a neck injury around the same time Norris will return, it's unclear at this point if Norris will return to the big leagues or remain with the Tigers' Triple-A affiliate, where he's made 13 starts in 2016.
