Embiid has been under contract for two seasons but has yet to actually take the court after ongoing complications in his right foot. The Sixers will be long shots to make the playoffs next season yet again, so the organization has every incentive to ease Embiid into the league, especially since Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are already viable options at center. As a result, Embiid is on track to have limited value throughout his rookie campaign.
