Holmes (Achilles) is expected to be out for around seven-to-10 days, Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports.
Holmes was one of three forwards (Jerami Grant and Robert Covington were the others) to exit last Friday's game against the Nets with an injury, and coach Brett Brown relayed after the contest that Holmes figures to have the longest recovery timetable of the group while he battles a right Achilles strain. The rookie was on track to receive more minutes in light of Jahlil Okafor (knee) being shut down for the season following surgery, but it looks like that extra court time may now fall to the likes of Carl Landry and Elton Brand.
