Bulls' Jimmy Butler: On track to practice Friday

Butler (knee) is on track to practice Friday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

As the Bulls hoped, Butler appears set to get back on the practice floor following a positive workout Wednesday, and if he suffers no setbacks, it's realistic to think he could play as soon as Saturday against the Rockets. That may be rather optimistic with only one day of practice, however, so if Butler sits Saturday, his next opportunity will come Monday, when the Bulls play host to Bucks.
