Rondo has a sprained right wrist and is questionable for Thursday's game against the 76ers, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
Rondo reportedly suffered the injury during Tuesday's tilt with the Knicks, but an X-ray following the game cleared him of any sort of fracture. He'll undergo a follow-up MRI shortly, which should give us a better indication of a timetable for a return. For now, Rondo has been given a questionable designation heading into Thursday, so we should see his status update after the team's morning shootaround at the latest. Michael Carter-Williams, Jerian Grant and Cameron Payne would all be candidates to fill in, but coach Fred Hoiberg's volatility with his point guard rotation makes it hard to predict who he'd go with.
