Brown (knee) is expected to play in Thursday's summer league matchup with the Spurs, Chris Forsberg of ESPN.com reports.
After hyperextending his right knee in his summer league debut Monday, Brown ended up sitting out Tuesday's tilt with the Jazz. It appears the Celtics were just acting cautiously by keeping him on the sideline for that contest, as Brown underwent an MRI that showed nothing overly concerning with his knee. The Celtics will likely reevaluate him again prior to game time Thursday, but all indications are that the No. 3 overall pick is ready to get back on the court.
