Sessions (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Suns, Stephanie Ready of FOX Sports Southeast reports.

David Scott of the Charlotte Observer reported Friday that Sessions has received clearance to play, but the Hornets may be inclined to give the point guard more time to ramp up his conditioning. He hasn't played since Feb. 1 due to the torn left meniscus, and with the Hornets beginning to slip out of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, the team may not be eager to rush Sessions back into action. While Sessions remains out, Briante Weber should continue working as the main backup to starting point guard Kemba Walker.
