JaKarr Sampson: Waived by Nuggets

The Nuggets opted to waive Sampson on Saturday, Adam Mares of DenverStiffs.com reports.

Sampson was one of several players competing for the 15th spot on the Nuggets' roster, but was ultimately not able to make the squad. He averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 boards, and 0.6 assists in 18 minutes per game after being traded to the team last season.
