Lakers' Ivica Zubac: Assigned to D-League

Zubac was assigned to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League on Tuesday, Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders reports.

The rookie has logged just nine total minutes in the Lakers' last nine games, as it continues to look as though 2016-17 will be strictly a developmental season for the 19-year-old. He'll now return to the D-League and is expected to be in uniform for Wednesday's matchup with the Northern Arizona Suns.
