Georges-Hunt signed a two-year, partially guaranteed contract with the Magic on Monday, the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins reports.
The deal with keep Georges-Hunt with the Magic for the rest of the season, but his contract won't be guaranteed for the 2017-18 season. Georges-Hunt spent some time with the Heat earlier in the season, but he's never appeared in an NBA game. In 45 D-League contests, Georges-Hunt, an undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech, averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 39.2 percent from three-point range. He'll likely play sparingly for the Magic, though with the team out of playoff contention, he could be given a few opportunities down the stretch.
