Raptors' Jarrod Uthoff: Signs deal with Raptors

Uthoff signed a two-year, partially guaranteed deal with the Raptors on Thursday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.

A 6-foot-9 forward out of Iowa, Uthoff went undrafted in June, but latched on with the Raptors' summer league team. He finished the summer playing in four games, posting averages of 4.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 steal over 17 minutes per game. Uthoff isn't considered the most athletic prospect, but he's got a strong offensive repetoire and can score in bunches. He'll be with the Raptors for training camp, but considering his contract is only partially guaranteed, there's a good chance he doesn't make the final roster.
