Rockets' Joel Anthony: Heads to Houston

Anthony was traded to the Rockets on Thursday along with a top-eight protected 2016 first-round pick in exchange for Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Anthony had only made appearances in 13 games for the Pistons this season, as he was slotted into an emergency depth role behind Andre Drummond and Aron Baynes. His opportunities with his new team will be virtually the same while now ranking behind Dwight Howard Clint Capela, Josh Smith, and Terrence Jones on the depth chart. Anthony has little hope of ascending to fantasy relevancy over the remainder of the season.
