Rockets' Ray McCallum: To join Rockets

McCallum will sign a free-agent contract with the Rockets, Johnathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

McCallum will link up with Houston for summer league action after spending part of this past season with the Hornets. Although he never played over the course of two 10-day contracts with Charlotte, McCallum averaged 17.6 points, 7.0 assists and 5.8 rebounds in the G League, and boasts previous NBA experience having played his first two seasons with the Kings before stints with the Spurs and Grizzlies in 2015-16.
