Lee agreed to a two-year contract with the Spurs on Thursday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The second year of the contract is a player option. Lee split his 2015-16 campaign between the Celtics and Mavericks, finishing the year with combined averages of 7.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 16 minutes per game. The 11-year veteran will join the Spurs in hopes of making championship run and he should provide a depth option in the frontcourt behind starters LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol. Lee finished this past season on the injured list with a partially torn plantar fascia in his right heel, but it's unclear if the injury is still a factor at this point in time.
