Barnes pitched in with 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block over 29 minutes in Thursday's 116-98 victory over the Lakers.

The four-year pro continues to come off the bench since his return from an ankle injury seven games ago, but his playing time has begun to approximate what he'd received as a starter prior to his 16-game absence. His production has also followed suit, as Barnes has now tallied four straight double-digit scoring performances, and has encouragingly posted double-digit shot attempts in four of his last five contests. It would appear that Barnes would be on the verge of reclaiming his starting spot from Brandon Rush, but the 29 minutes per contest he's received over the last three games have largely made the starting designation irrelevant.
