Cruz (calf) said he's been on a "pitch count" during team drills, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.

Cruz's participation in offseason workouts, albeit in a limited capacity, bodes well for his availability for OTAs and training camp. Giants GM Jerry Reese said in April that he expects Cruz to be ready for camp, but it's unclear what the veteran wideout will bring to the table, having last played in October of 2014. Cruz will compete for playing time alongside Odell Beckham in a wideout group that also includes second-round rookie Sterling Shepard.
