Shayne Skov: Released by 49ers

Skov (knee) was released by the 49ers on Tuesday.

The Stanford product was placed on injured reserve in November due to a knee injury. He registered 10 tackles on the year playing a primarily special teams role. His release was the result of a failed physical, so his knee presumably has yet to fully recover.
