Elliott exited Wednesday's tilt against the Blackhawks with an undisclosed injury after allowing four goals on 15 shots, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.
Elliott exited the contest after Jonathan Toews and David Backes came crashing into him late in the first period. It isn't entirely clear if Elliott left the game primarily due to injury or poor performance, or a combination of both factors, but the Blues should provide an update on the 30-year-old netminder's status once they have an opportunity to evaluate him further.
