The lower-body injury that has sidelined Stastny of late is believed to be a broken foot, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
The report relays that whether Stastny will be able to play again before the end of the regular season is unclear at this stage, but suggests that such an outcome appears doubtful. Coach Mike Yeo did not provide a timetable for the forward's potential return. "We'll just keep going the way that we have been, just keep saying he's day-to-day," Yeo noted of Stastny, who last suited up for the Blues on March 21.
