Drew MacIntyre: Will stop pucks in Russia

MacIntyre signed with Medvescak Zagreb of the KHL on Friday, TSNreports.

MacIntyre takes his talents overseas, having been released by the Capitals after earning a professional tryout agreement with the club. There simply was no room for him on the roster next to reigning Vezina Trophy winner Braden Holtby and young backup Philipp Grubauer, who has shown steady improvement since entering the NHL four years ago.
