Ducks' Logan Shaw: Skips morning skate Sunday

Shaw (lower body) didn't take part in Sunday's morning skate, leaving his status in doubt for the evening's Game 6 matchup against the Oilers.

Shaw's absence from the team's morning practice session doesn't necessarily rule him out, but it at least trends his status in that direction. An official designation should arrive prior to the evening's puck drop, but if he skips as expected, the 24-year-old's next chance to return would come in either Game 7 (if necessary) or Game 1 of the next round. Ondrej Kase could replace him in the lineup Sunday if necessary.
