Byfuglien exited Thursday's game in the third period with an upper-body injury, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Coach Paul Maurice indicated after the game that they won't know anything more on the star defenseman's status until they return home, so expect more information in the coming days. An extended absence would be a huge loss for both the Jets and fantasy owners down the stretch, but he hasn't even been ruled out for Saturday at this point. If Byfuglien is unable to go, the Jets would likely be forced to recall another blueliner for the game.
