Remember that fight between the Blue Jays and Rangers a few weeks ago where Rougned Odor jacked Jose Bautista's jaw like an MMA fighter? In case you don't, here are the moving pics:
There were a litany of suspensions, including Bautista getting one game for his slide and post-game comments that he went hard because he was angry about being hit by a pitch.
Bautista appealed the suspension, but Major League Baseball has ruled that his suspension is upheld, the Blue Jays have announced. That means Bautista will miss Friday night's game against the first-place Red Sox in Toronto.
Bautista, 35, is hitting .238/.379/.494 with 10 homers and 34 RBI this season.
Expect the other appeal rulings to be announced pretty soon.
