Jose Fernandez memorial service travels through streets of Miami
The heartbreak continued Wednesday with Fernandez's family and teammates on hand
A memorial service for late, great Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was held Wednesday in Miami. The processional started at Marlins Park and the funeral was held at St. Brendan's Church.
The entire Marlins team was on hand wearing the same R.I.P. shirts with Jose's image serving as the "I" that we've seen Dee Gordon wearing in the past few days. Fans were on hand chanting Jose.
The processional began at 2:16 p.m. local time, honoring Fernandez's No. 16 that will never be worn again by a Marlins player.
