'Marlins Man' says he'll be in same seats back in Kansas City
Royals vs. Giants? Developing. Royals vs. Marlins Man? Also developing.

SAN FRANCISCO -- As you've consumed World Series baseball of late, you've no doubt noticed "Marlins Man," the Miami Marlins rooter who, in full Fish garb, serially avails himself of premium seats behind home plate. Marlins Man is actually Laurence Levy, Miami-based attorney and board-certified practitioner of the The Good Life.
Here was Leavy in Game 1 of Giants-Royals World Series in Kansas City ...

Orange among the blue!
The Royals didn't like that, you see. Having a Marlins fan conspicuously centered in the frame like that is bad for the brand. Or something like that. They allegedly offered Leavy the full complement of upgrades if he'd, you know, get off the television screen, but Leavy was wonderfully defiant and stayed put. According to Deadspin, Royals vice-president of public affairs Toby Cook then said this of Mr. Leavy and his rooting interests ...
"[Leavy] said, 'No, no, this is my M.O. I wear this orange jersey and I get on TV all the time,'" Cook said. "We asked if he's a big Marlins fan and he said, 'God, no, I hate those guys — I just wear this to get on TV.'"
Shot across the bow! As you can imagine, Mr. Leavy didn't take kindly to having his Marlins street cred assailed in such a manner ...
Yeah Royals..... I hate the Marlins. Right. Liars. pic.twitter.com/Xq0YG4jnRd

Leavy was on hand for Games 3 and 4 at AT&T Park, and he's once again here for Game 5. That's when we caught up with him outside the ballpark, where he was posing for pics with his swelling ranks of fans.
"You can't even print what I said when I heard that," Leavy said of the Royals', um, accusations regarding his Marlins fandom. He then proceeded to repeat those words, and, no, we indeed cannot print them. "They were pissed off because they couldn't buy me," Leavy went on, "and now they're trying to smear my name. But they can't smear my name."
So will Leavy attend Game 6 and, if necessary, Game 7 back at KC's Kauffman Stadium? "Yes, and they don't want me to go," he said. "I have the same tickets. Watch what happens. I'm going to hold up signs, like, 'The Royals are liars.'"
Accusatory signs! "Unless they're nice to me," Leavy allowed.
Leavy says the Royals were nice to him during Game 2, when, according to Leavy, the team assigned someone to sit with him. "But after I left Kansas City, that's when they put that stuff out, that he hates the Marlins."
So when the scene shifts back to the home of the AL champs, look for the guy in orange behind home plate. He'll quite possibly be holding a sign that reads, "The Royals are liars."
Developing!
