Report: White Sox trying to trade for Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig
The White Sox could make a big splash at the deadline by adding Puig
The Dodgers and White Sox have been involved in some fun rumors over the last week-plus -- most notably those connecting the two in a potential Chris Sale flip. We've heard the names of various prospects -- like Julios Urias and Jose De Leon -- thrown about, but Monday brought us a new one -- and an exciting veteran one at that: Yasiel Puig.
Here's what Buster Olney reported:
The White Sox want Yasiel Puig if they make a deal with the Dodgers.

We left the White Sox off our list of Puig suitors because we assumed Sale would be remaining in Chicago. That's probably still going to be the case -- the White Sox have no reason to deal him immediately, and the Dodgers just went out and secured another starter -- but don't be surprised if you hear more about a deal built around Puig-for-Sale in the coming six months. Provided, that is, Puig remains a Dodger for that long.
