As we've noted many, many times in this very space, minor league promotional jerseys are growing in popularity by the day. What I coined as the best promotional jerseys of all time roughly seven weeks ago now have some competition.

The Tennessee Smokies (Cubs Double-A affiliate) earlier this season had jerseys of Han Solo (from Star Wars and if you didn't know that, please get your life together) frozen in carbonite.

Now, it's the West Michigan Whitecaps (Tigers Class A affiliate) turn and they've done it better:

Beautiful. They'll wear those gems on Saturday.

Maybe Han should've stayed frozen instead of procreating Kylo Ren, his eventual ... NEVERMIND NO MORE SPOILERS.
