The Chicago Cubs had to win Game 6 of the 2016 World Series to stay alive in the best-of-seven series.

That's why Addison Russell's grand slam in the third inning, which put the Cubs up 7-0 over the Cleveland Indians, was such a pivotal moment:

Predictably, Murphy's Bleachers -- a Wrigleyville bar -- had an explosive and positive reaction to Russell's dinger:

Considering the Cubs were in a 3-1 hole, just forcing a Game 7 is an impressive feat. Still, you can't blame anyone in that bar for feeling like this is a storybook ending in the making.

We'll see if that feeling remains in, oh, about 26 hours, give or take.
