Nothing really went as planned for the Golden State Warriors with their visit to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies on Saturday. The Warriors struggled from beyond the arc, turned the ball over 23 times and Anderson Varejao failed to replace the dependable production of the injured Zaza Pachulia. With everything going against them, the Warriors were just crushed by the Grizzlies, 110-89.

Yet while everything about their game in Memphis was forgettable, the Warriors can come away with at least one positive experience from their brief stay in the city -- their visit to St. Jude's.

Before losing to the Grizzlies, several of the Warriors visited St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis and spent time with patients.

Many teams take the time out of their schedule to visit St. Jude's while they are in Memphis and it is great to see the Warriors do that as well. But one cool aspect of Golden State's visit actually came after the loss, when Stephen Curry wore a necklace made up of Christmas lights, which according to ESPN radio's John Martin was made by a patient at St. Jude's.

While a Christmas light necklace may not be the highest of postgame fashion, Curry's support likely means the world to whoever made it for him.

A nice gesture by Curry, on an otherwise forgettable night for the Warriors.
