The Warriors are trying to keep their championship roster mostly in tact by the looks of it. After reaching an agreement with Stephen Curry to a supermax contract, the Warriors reached one with Shaun Livingston on a bargain 3-year $24 million deal. Livingston's size and length makes him one of the peskier point guards in the NBA.

Livingston has been Golden State's primary backup point guard for the last few seasons and he's been consistently good the entire time. He's started to slow down a bit the last couple seasons, but he's well worth the bargain deal that Golden State has reached at the start of the free agency period.

This is a good deal for Golden State, because it's for the most part inexpensive. The Warriors are trying to keep the luxury tax bill as low as possible. There's a real possibility of losing Andre Iguodala due to to that and that makes every dollar spent on role players like Livingston crucial.

Golden State should be able to expect more of the same from Livingston throughout his contract. His role isn't going to change no matter what happens this summer and that's great for him, because he's very good at what he does for the Warriors.
