With the help of the NBA replay center in Secaucus, New Jersey, officials sometimes take an exorbitant amount of time to review calls or plays. But for the Sacramento Kings, that is just time well spent. At least that was the case for the Kings against theRaptors on Sunday.

After an exhaustive review, officials ruled that a potential tying 3-pointer by Terrence Ross did not count. Ross appeared to make the shot with time remaining but officials ruled that DeMarcus Cousins tipped the ball, causing the game clock to not start on time. So, since the clock didn't start on time, Ross' shot was ruled ineligible.

Understandably, the Raptors were quite irate at the ruling.

Raptors coach Dwane Casey screamed at officials and then slammed his clipboard in anger before storming off the court:

And Kyle Lowry refused to answer any questions afterward, saying "no comment" over and over:

Despite the Raptors' feelings of anger, Official Mike Callahan explained after the game that the replay center essentially made the final ruling:

The Raptors likely will appeal the ruling. However, history is not on their side. The last team that won an appeal was the Miami Heat in 2008, but that was the first time in 25 years a decision was overturned by the league.

That won't stop Toronto from trying to appeal, though. But whatever occurs, this is definitely one loss the Raptors likely will never forget about this season.
