Suspended Draymond Green will watch Game 5 in A's luxury suite next to Oracle
Suspended for Game 5, Draymond Green will reportedly watch the game in a luxury suite at the Oakland A's game
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green may not be allowed at Oracle Arena during Game 5 of the NBA Finals due to his suspension, but he will be near by.
According to The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears, Green will be watching the game from a luxury suite at the Oakland A's game, who play in the O.Co Coliseum and has a tunnel that connects it with Oracle Arena. And in the event that the Warriors defeat the Cavaliers to win the championship, Green will be allowed to be part of the celebrations according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Green was "strongly pushing" to attend Monday's game but due to the NBA's rules regarding suspensions, he would've been fined if he was actually in the building during game play. At least the tunnel connecting the two buildings will provide Green with a speedy way to get to Oracle to celebrate with his teammates if the Warriors win. It is quite humorous though that Green will be at baseball game to watch a basketball game but this seems like the best possible scenario for him.
