Warriors dropped 149 points on Lakers, and Klay Thompson wasn't satisfied
He was really hoping for 150
Showing no mercy on the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors delivered a complete beating to their former assistant coach's team on Wednesday, winning by 43 points and scoring 149 points, the most by any team this season. The absolute demolition of the Lakers was retribution for the Warriors, who lost in Los Angeles earlier in the season.
But it wasn't good enough for Klay Thompson.
Speaking with reporters after the game, Thompson marveled at Golden State's efficient offense, but admitted he would've liked to see his Warriors hit the 150-point mark.

"I don't think a team I've been on has ever scored 150 points in a game," Thompson said. "But I can settle for 149."
Thompson is joking here ... sort of.
He's known as one of the fiercest competitors in the league, and you know wanted that number deep down.
