WATCH: Blake Griffin displays his comedic talent at Just For Laughs festival
The charismatic Clipper takes his entertainment to a new level
From performing in improv shows to showcasing perfect comedic timing in commercials and acting roles, Los Angles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has a second calling in comedy. Griffin, who has performed stand-up before, recently got up on stage at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.
Having enough material to do 10 minutes on stage, Griffin made fun of postgame interviews and closed his set with a funny and interesting tale of the first time he went to a strip club as an NBA rookie with the rest of his Clippers teammates. Griffin does curse several times in his set so it is a bit NSFW:
Sure, Griffin's set is mainly about being an athlete but that's also mainly what he knows. Plus overall, his jokes are smart and hilarious, especially his closing bit. It wouldn't be surprising if we keep seeing more videos of Griffin doing stand-up in the future. Especially since, he certainly has a knack for it.
