It will be a shame if Larry Nance Jr. doesn't participate in the slam dunk contest at All-Star weekend, because the Lakers second-year player can throw down some massive jams. It's an aspect of Nance's game that Brook Lopez learned about the hard way on Wednesday night.

Driving down the lane against the Brooklyn Nets, Nance rose for a one-handed dunk and somehow was able to extend his arm over Lopez before emphatically delivering the hammer down:

While Nance impressed even himself after the dunk (check out his reaction), he did feel a bit remorseful for his carnage and apologized to Lopez during a stoppage of play:

Nance's apology just shows how nasty his dunk can be. He actually felt bad for embarrassing Lopez, which is yet another reason why Nance's dunk was amazingly brutal.
