Wizards' Bradley Beal fined $15,000 for grabbing Evan Fournier's throat
The incident occurred on Friday
The NBA fined Washington's Bradley Beal $15,000 for grabbing Evan Fournier's neck during a game Friday against Orlando.
Beal was assessed a technical foul during the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 94-91 victory over the Magic, and the league tacked on the additional penalty Sunday.

Yeah, you just can't do that for any reason in the NBA. It's sort of surprising, in fact, that Beal was only fined $15,000. Earlier this season, Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade and Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins were fined $25,000 for making a throat-slashing gesture and throwing a mouth guard, respectively. Not sure those infractions are worse than putting your hands around an opponent's neck.
