Charles James promoted from practice squad

The Giants have promoted defensive back Charles James from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Saturday, the New York Daily News reports.

With Aaron Ross and Jayron Hosley out and Corey Webster doubtful to play Sunday, James could see plenty of playing time.
