Steve Smith rips NFL Network's 'Top 100 Players of 2016' after being left off
The Ravens wide receiver has a message for the NFL Network
If someone ever decides to make a list of the NFL's 100 angriest players, Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith will probably be at the top.
Smith always seems to be angry, and when he's not angry, it's because he's looking for something to be angry about.
In this week's episode of "Why is Steve Smith angry?" the wide receiver got slightly peeved on Tuesday when he found out the NFL Network left him off of their "Top 100 Players of 2016" list.
The network airs a weekly show each summer, which counts down the top 100 players in the NFL. This year's list did not include Smith, and Smith was not happy about that.
You got guys who didn't even play this season F___ UR #NFLtop100 16yrs vote on that 🤔 https://t.co/I196gUbedFpic.twitter.com/UBNLKWWD6I

Yikes.
Smith is not happy.
This is the tweet he was responding to. Apprently, Smith did not like being labeled as a player "just beyond" the top 100.
Can @89SteveSmith make it into the #NFLTop100 next year?@JForsett explains how.https://t.co/kQ4xrCeRkn

Anyway, just to be clear, the top-100 list is actually voted on by Smith's fellow players, so if he got left off, it was their fault.
Of course, Smith might have been left off the list because he tore his Achilles in 2015 and only ended up playing in a total of seven games last season. On the other hand, the voters didn't seem to care that Dez Bryant missed seven games, as the Cowboys receiver was ranked 51st overall.
Maybe Smith should be angry. As a matter of fact, we should just let Smith make the entire list next year, just so we don't anger him.
