| Report: Plax wants to play for Philly: Plaxico Burress told Howard Eskin of 94 WIP SportsRadio in Philadelphia that he "wants to play for Eagles. Badly!" Eskin posted the news on his Twitter account, saying he spoke to him at the Super Bowl, and later posted that he thinks that the "Eagles will think about" signing him. Burress recently commented on his year with the Jets to the New York Post, failing to elaborate on any comments and seeming uninterested in staying with them. (Updated 02/09/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Though he did score eight touchdowns in 2011, three came in one game and his supporting stats weren't exactly stellar (45 catches for 612 yards and a 13.6 average). Burress' situation is sure to change this offseason and his value will swing a little bit based on where he plays. But frankly he's no better than a good reserve receiver worth carrying for bye-week use during the 2012 season. Grab him with a middle- to late-round pick. (Updated 02/09/2012). |
