  • Holmes foot injury was worst kind: Jets receiver Santonio Holmes told the official team website the Lisfranc injury he was diagnosed with was a Grade 4, which is the most serious kind, meaning a muscle tear and joint separation in his mid-foot. Screws and a plate were removed in a follow-up surgery in March, but he said two screws will remain in his foot permanently. Holmes hopes to be ready for the first day of training camp, but that seems overly ambitious, considering he still isn't running and cutting.

    Fantasy Analysis
    The Jets need a healthy Holmes because he's their best receiver on offense. Even though the Jets are in a tailspin, and Holmes has struggled since joining the Jets, he's still a No. 1 receiver on a team that will likely be trailing a lot. Because of that he's worth a late-round pick in all leagues, and don't be surprised if Holmes turns into a viable No. 3 Fantasy receiver.
