Raiders sign Justin Tuck
by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer

Defensive end Justin Tuck signed with the Raiders on a two-year, $11 million deal, reports the New York Daily News.

The report says Tuck, who played for the Giants for nine seasons, even gave his former team the chance to match the offer. He had 11 sacks in 2013.

"Everyone talks about once you turn 30, it’s all downhill," Tuck said. "I don't believe in that. I don't look at myself in that regard. I feel like I have a lot of great football left in me."

Justin Tuck looking to cash in big
by Larry Hartstein |

Giants defensive end Justin Tuck is looking to cash in on free agency, with his agent claiming Tuck is "by far the most complete d-end in the class,"

"He can play the 4-3, he can play the 3-4," the agent, Doug Hendrickson, told The Star-Ledger. "He obviously had an incredible season last year with every stat he had with the tackles, tackles for loss, the hurries and the sacks. They were up there with the upper-echelon defensive linemen."

Tuck, who turns 31 next month, had 11 sacks, 63 tackles and 44 quarterback hurries last season. The Giants and Tuck have stayed in touch, but no deal appears imminent as Tuck prepares to test the open market, the paper said.
