Here's a ranking of the five teams in each conference still alive for the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye, based on full model simulations using complete NFL tiebreaker rules. The Seahawks and Broncos control their own destiny, but a loss could open the door for the other contenders to move up.

Projections for the remainder of the College Football Playoff, from the New Year's Quarterfinals through the National Championship in Miami. The model gives Ohio State (23.3%) and Georgia (20.6%) the highest chances to win it all, while Oregon (14.5%) stands out as the best value.
